USD TO PKR INTERBANK RATE: Wednesday’s interbank trading, the value of the Pakistani rupee (PKR) increased by 11 paisas in relation to the US dollar, finishing at PKR 282.9 from PKR 283.01 a day earlier.

OPEN MARKET RATES: Exchange companies quoted the dollar at 281.5 for buying and 284.5 for selling in the open market. PKR in the previous session closed at 281.5 for buying and 284.5 for selling.


The Pakistan Rupee (PKR) experienced a 95.3 paisa decline against the Euro, closing at 310.26 from its previous value of 309.3, in relation to major currencies.

The British Pound ended the day at 358.21, down from 358.49 a day earlier, a decrease of 28.29 paisa.

The Swiss franc ended the day at 328.44, up 1.6 rupees from the previous session’s close of 326.84.

PKR dropped 0.7 paisa against the Japanese Yen, closing at 1.97 versus 1.963 the previous day.

The Chinese Yuan increased by 4.59 paisa to close at 39.6472, up from 39.6013 in the previous session.

The Saudi Riyal lost 4.99 paisa from its value of 75.44 one day prior to closing at 75.39.
