PKR INTERBANK RATE: Friday’s interbank trading, the value of the Pakistani rupee (PKR) increased by 25 paisas in relation to the US dollar, finishing at PKR 283.26 from PKR 283.51 a day earlier.
OPEN MARKET RATES: Exchange companies quoted the dollar at 284.5 for buying and 286.5 for selling in the open market. In the previous session closing of 283.5 for buying and 283.45 for selling. Resulting in appreciation of dollar in the open market.
PKR AGAINST MAJOR CURRENCIES
The Pakistan Rupee (PKR) experienced a decline of 2.9 rupees in relation to the Euro, ending the day at 311.39 as opposed to its previous value of 308.49.
The British Pound closed at 361.55, up 3.59 rupees from the previous day’s 357.96.
The Swiss franc closed at 326.65, up 1.3 rupees from the previous session’s closing of 325.35.
PKR increased by 0.29 paisa against the Japanese Yen, closing at 1.9943 as opposed to 1.9972 the previous day.
The Chinese Yuan closed at 39.86, up 14.31 paisa from the previous session’s close of 39.72.
The Saudi Riyal ended the day at 75.55, down 7.53 paisa from its opening value of 75.58.
The value of the U.A.E. Dirham dropped from 77.13 a day ago to 77.2, a loss of 6.87 paisa.
