PKR INTERBANK RATE: Wednesday’s interbank trading, the value of the Pakistani rupee (PKR) increased by 17 paisas in relation to the US dollar, finishing at PKR 283.61 from PKR 283.78 a day earlier.
OPEN MARKET RATES: Exchange companies quoted the dollar at 284.5 for buying and 285.5 for selling in the open market. In the previous session closing of 283.5 for buying and 285.5 for selling.
PKR AGAINST MAJOR CURRENCIES
The Pakistani rupee saw a 2.97 paisa decline versus the euro relative to other major currencies, closing at 305.85 as opposed to 305.82 earlier.
From 356.68 a day earlier to 355.05 today, the British Pound lost 1.63 rupees in value.
After losing 2.75 paisa in the previous session, the Swiss franc ended the day at 323.89, down from 323.91.
The rupee appreciated 0.62 paisa against the Japanese yen, closing at 1.9449 as opposed to 1.9511 the previous day.
In the previous session, the Chinese Yuan closed at 39.54, down 6.85 paisa.
From its values of 75.66 a day earlier, the Saudi Riyal lost 5.03 paisa to close at 75.61.
The value of the U.A.E. Dirham today dropped from 77.23 to 77.27, a decrease of 4.52 paisa.
