The price of gold surged on Monday, with the per tola price of 24 karat gold increasing by Rs.500 to Rs.242,000 from the previous trading day’s price of Rs.241,500. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold rose by Rs.429, reaching Rs.207,476 from Rs.207,047. The price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold also increased, climbing to Rs.190,186 from Rs.189,793, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.
Silver Prices Steady
The prices of silver remained unchanged, with per tola and 10 grams of silver steady at Rs.2,850 and Rs.2,443.41, respectively.
International Market
In the international market, the price of gold increased by $8, reaching $2,328 from the previous price of $2,320, as reported by the Association.
