The per tola price of 24 karat gold witnessed a significant increase in the local market, rising by Rs 2,300 to reach Rs 250,400 on Monday, compared to its previous sale at Rs 248,100. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also surged by Rs 1,972, reaching Rs 214,678 from Rs 212,706. The prices of 10 gram 22 karat gold saw an uptick as well, climbing to Rs 196,788 from Rs 194,980, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.

GOLD (XAUUSD) HITS RECORD HIGH

Despite these increases, the prices of silver remained steady, with the per tola and ten gram silver maintaining their prices at Rs 2,850 and Rs 2,443.41, respectively.

Internationally, the price of gold also experienced a rise, increasing by $25 to $2,439 from $2,414, as reported by the association.

These fluctuations in gold prices reflect both domestic and global economic factors influencing the precious metal market. Investors and consumers alike keep a close eye on these movements for investment and purchasing decisions.
