USD TO PKR INTERBANK RATE: Monday’s interbank trading, the value of the Pakistani rupee (PKR) increased by 5 paisas in relation to the US dollar, finishing at PKR 283.21 from PKR 283.26 a day earlier.

OPEN MARKET RATES: Exchange companies quoted the dollar at 284.5 for buying and 286.5 for selling in the open market. PKR in the previous session closed at 284.5 for buying and 286.5 for selling.


The Pakistani Rupee appreciated 2.03 against the euro relative to the major currencies, closing at 309.35 as opposed to 311.39 earlier.

The British Pound closed at 359.54, down from 361.55 a day earlier, a decrease of 2.02 rupees.

The Swiss franc closed at 326.11, down 54.4 paisa from the previous session’s close of 326.65.

The Pakistan Rupee appreciated 0.51 paisa against the Japanese Yen, closing at 1.989 versus 1.994 the previous day.

The Chinese Yuan ended the session at 39.7114, down 15.12 paisa from the previous session’s close of 39.8626.

The Saudi Riyal closed at 75.49, down 1.28 paisa from its value of 75.5 the previous day.

A day ago, the U.A.E. Dirham was worth 77.127, but today it is worth 77.113, a drop of 1.41 paisa.
