OPEN MARKET RATES: Exchange companies quoted the dollar at 283 for buying and 284.75 for selling in the open market.
PKR AGAINST MAJOR CURRENCIES
The PKR appreciated 63.85 paisa in relation to the Euro, closing at 305.36 as opposed to its previous value of 306.
The British Pound closed at 355.84, down from 356.67 the previous day, a decrease of 83.23 paisa.
The Swiss franc ended the day at 322.61, down 1.48 rupees from the previous session’s close of 324.09.
PKR gained 3.06 paisa against the Japanese Yen, closing at 1.9387 versus 1.9693 the previous day.
The Chinese Yuan closed at 39.53, down 11.77 paisa from the previous session’s 39.65.
The Saudi Riyal closed at 75.69, up 0.81 paisa from the previous day’s value of 75.68.
The value of the U.A.E. Dirham rose from 77.31 to 77.3 a day earlier, an increase of 0.73 paisa.
