GOLD PRICE PER TOLA IN PAKISTAN: The cost of 24-karat gold increased by Rs1,000 per tola to close the session at Rs220,600.

The price of 10-gram 24-karat gold closed today’s session at Rs189.129 posting a increase of Rs857. Meanwhile, 10-gram 22-karat gold stood at Rs173,368 from Rs172,582 a day earlier.

Additionally, the price of silver increased today as well. At Rs 2,680 and Rs 2,297.66, 24-karat and 10-gram 24-karat silver were sold, having gained Rs 30 and Rs 25.72, respectively.


Driven by a number of global economic factors and geopolitical tensions, gold prices (XAU/USD) are exhibiting a stable trend, positioning for the best year in three.

Even though spot gold saw a marginal decrease early on Wednesday, it is still near its two-week high. On the other hand, gold futures have increased, positioning them to record a robust annual gain. Gold Spot/ U.S. Dollar (XAUUSD) in Tuesday’s session gained (+$14.98) (+0.73%). Gold gained $33.28 in the previous week.


XAUUSD posted an intraday high of $2069.31 and intraday low of $2064.02. Gold is currently trading at $2067.96 (3:12pm Wednesday, 27 December 2023 (GMT+5) Time in Pakistan).
