China has reaffirmed its unshakeable commitment to the long-term alliance with Pakistan following a horrific terrorist assault in which five Chinese citizens were killed in Pakistan. China made this message in a forceful manner.

CHINA’S FIRM STANCE AGAINST TERRORISM

During a routine news briefing in Beijing, Lin Jian, spokesperson for the Chinese foreign ministry, unequivocally denounced terrorism in all its forms. China reiterated its steadfast support for Pakistan’s efforts in combating terrorism, emphasizing its opposition to any attempts to undermine the robust cooperation between the two nations.

PM ON TERROR ATTACK ON CHINESE NATIONALS

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has taken decisive action following the terrorist attack on Chinese nationals at the Dassu Hydel Power Project in Besham. He chaired an emergency meeting attended by key government officials, military personnel including Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir, and other stakeholders. The meeting focused on investigating the attack and ensuring justice for the victims while reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to its partnership with China.

Sharif expressed condolences to the victims’ families and pledged swift justice for the attackers. He praised the prompt response of law enforcement agencies and locals in averting further tragedy.
