PKR INTERBANK RATE: Thursday’s interbank trading, the value of the Pakistani rupee (PKR) increased by 2 paisas in relation to the US dollar, finishing at PKR 284.12 from PKR 284.14 a day earlier.
OPEN MARKET RATES: Exchange companies quoted the dollar at 283 for buying and 285 for selling in the open market, down from the previous day’s closing of 282 for buying and 285 for selling. As a result, the local unit remained steady against the US Dollar in the open market .
PKR AGAINST MAJOR CURRENCIES
Pkr gained 24.01 paisa against the euro relative to other major currencies, closing at 306.2659 from 306.506 earlier.
From a day earlier at 358.1065 to its closing price of 357.4641, the British Pound lost 64.24 paisa.
From the previous session’s 324.7915 to the closing price of 325.0788, the Swiss franc saw gains of 28.73 paisa.
After losing 1.73 paisas against the Japanese yen, PKR ended the day at 1.9504 compared to 1.9331 the previous day.
Following a session of 39.7046, the Chinese Yuan closed at 39.7052, up 0.06 paisa.
From its values of 75.7576 a day earlier, the Saudi Riyal lost 0.67 paisa to close at 75.7509.
One day ago, the value of the U.A.E. Dirham was 77.366, but today it is 77.377, down 1.1 paisa.
