The government has cut down the cost of gasoline to Rs8.47 up to Rs260.96 for a litre. according to in a statement released by the finance ministry on the Social media site X.

The new rates are in effect starting on August 14th and will remain in place until the end of August.

To remind you, in the last two weeks the government cut the cost of gasoline to Rs6.17 to Rs269.43 per litre, following two price hikes.
