Renowned religious scholar Dr. Zakir Naik arrived in Pakistan on Monday, following an invitation from the government. His visit, which will continue until October 28, includes public gatherings in various cities, leading Friday prayers, and meetings with senior officials. Dr. Naik, accompanied by his son Shaikh Fariq Naik, shared details of his tour on social media.
He is scheduled to deliver public talks in Karachi on October 5-6, Lahore on October 12-13, and Islamabad on October 19-20. Upon arrival, he was welcomed by officials, including PM’s Youth Programme Chairman Rana Mashhood. Dr. Naik currently resides in Malaysia, where he has been living since being wanted in India for alleged money laundering and inciting extremism.
