The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will extend an annual assistance package of $2 billion to Pakistan over the next three years, ADB President Masatsugu Asakawa announced during a meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari in Islamabad. He specifically mentioned the devastating floods of 2022, which wreaked havoc on the country’s infrastructure and economy.
